Any DOA animals must be kept until further notice. Notice of dissatisfaction or D.O.A.s must be received within 4 hours of receipt of shipment. The Reptile Shop guarantees the health of our animals for 24 hours. All live animal deliveries must be signed for by the customer at the time of delivery or our guarantee is void. As mentioned above, live arrival can only be guaranteed when transit temperatures are above 40 degrees and below 90 degrees Fahrenheit. In the rare event that the carrier mishandles your delivery, we will work with you in an attempt to ensure the best possible outcome. The Reptile Shop guarantees all of our animals will arrive alive and healthy unless they are mishandled by the carrier. The deposit covers the cost of the animal as well as shipment.Payments can be made via the web, by credit card, Paypal or in cash if picking-up locally. We offer 30 day Payment plans on purchases more than $500 and less than $5,000.00 and 60 Day Payment plans on purchases over $5,000.00. It isn't fair to our staff, the animal, or other customers who are interested in the animal.įurthermore if you place an order and we hold for shipment beyond 30 days and receive no communication the entire order will be forfeited with no refund for the time the animals should have remained on the website and been sold. We understand that this may seem unfair or frustrating but we have thousands of animals in the facility with very little time to spare to deal with cancellations. If you place an order with us and choose to cancel for whatever reason, we retain 50%, the cost of our nonrefundable deposit, as a restocking fee for the time the animal could have remained on the website, as well as the employees time for the care for that animal since the purchase.
